Kershaw Ken Onion Blur: a Nice Blade for Everyday Tasks
The Kershaw Blur is a solid knife, you can feel the quality while holding it in your hands. The materials and finish are excellent and the blade is sharp out of the box.
The only concern you may have is that it is a serious knife to carry. The blade measures 3 3/8" a little on the large size for everyday carry, but great for utility purposes or for using as a defense knife. The assisted opening system is simply great, smooth and fast and very safe. The blade clicks firmly into place when deployed and the Speedsafe mechanism prevents that the blade opens by accident when the knife is closed in your pocket.
The handle in the majority of the models is made of Aluminum with trac-tec inserts to improve the grip and has a reversible pocket click mounted on it. The Blur comes with a limited lifetime warranty and the price is reasonable considering the quality and beauty of the knife.
